03 May Stacie LaPointe, SFG, NASM-CPT, M.Ed
Stacie comes from a teaching background. Her career began as a high school biology teacher after earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular & Cellular Biology/General Biology and Master of Education from the University of Arizona. Fitness has been an important part of Stacie’s life since she started training for distance running in 2002. Looking for a new challenge, Stacie began competing in triathlons in 2010 and is an active member of the Tucson endurance community. She served as President of the Tucson Tri Girls in 2014. In 2016 Stacie successfully passed the SFG Kettlebell Certification, which is a 3 days of intensive training in the skills and strength of kettlebell training.
Stacie joined the Strong and Healthy Woman Program in 2013 and discovered a new passion in strength training. As a trainer at Evolution, Stacie has been able to combine her love of teaching with her enthusiasm for helping people achieve their fitness goals.
Outside of her work at Evolution, Stacie spends her time keeping up with her two young children, running, and swimming.
