The certified trainers at Evolution Fitness have put together a program specific to your training needs.   The Strength for Endurance Athletes Program will work progressively toward improving mobility and stability with the goal of increasing power, speed, and efficiency whether you’re main training goals are running, cycling or swimming.

I joined the Evolution Fitness in July 2014 to add cross training to my triathlon season.  I was immediately hooked!  After a few months of consistent training I found that my swimming and my running forms had improved.  Training at Evolution Fitness has not only been fun, it has made me a stronger triathlete!

WHAT IS THE STRENGTH FOR ENDURANCE ATHLETES PROGRAM?

It is a 6 week course of training that teaches the skills of Strength in smart progressions. 

All participants should plan to commit to 2 training sessions per week. We have designed the program to make sure that the strength training supports your endurance goals.

THE GOAL IS TO GET YOU STRONG, NOT WEAR YOU OUT SO YOU CAN’T TRAIN FOR YOUR SPORT. 

This is not a drop in program since we will be teaching progressions over the 6 weeks. Strength is progressive practice, not a once in a while thing.

Will be utilizing kettlebells, sleds, and body weight training throughout the program.

A strength program is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to prevent injury. It has been great working with Danny Sawaya and the team at Evolution Fitness who have the knowledge and experience to design a specific program makes you a better, faster, stronger and more powerful athlete.

istock_runnerTraining with Kettlebells is fun. Learning the skills and being able to track and see my progress made me invested early on. I firmly believe that any activity worth doing consistently has to be fun. Being able to run and ride injury free was a bonus that I didn’t anticipate or fully appreciate until I had accomplished many of my triathlon goals……..

Since I started training with kettlebells, I was able to win my age group in the Tucson Triathlon, Firecracker Triathlon, Tinfoilman Triathlon and Deuces Wild Olympic.

WHEN WILL PROGRAM START?

The classes will meet:

Wednesdays at 6:15 pm and Fridays at 5:45 pm. Classes will run about an hour long.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

Since this is our first kickoff of this program we are offering this at a very convenient price of only $149 For all 6 weeks of Small Group  Training.
